All our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes are covered under our manufactures 1-year full inclusive warranty for the original owner against all manufacturing defects. Parts will only be shipped to within Australia.

Note: Dear Customers, please remain your warranty card which is attached at the back of the user manual for future claims. AUSSTECH Electric Bikes limited 1-year warranty AUSSTECH Electric Bikes “Bicycle components including frame, forks, stem, handlebar, crank set, rims, wheel hub, free wheel, derailleur, wiring harness, LCD display, kick stand and hardware are warranted to be free from manufactured defects on materials and /or workmanship for a 1-year period from the date of original purchase. Under any circumstance wear and tear tubes, brake pads, rims, spokes, chains, hydraulic oils, gear shift, housing grips, cables and brake cables not limited to covered by AUSSTECH Electric bike warranty. All AUSSTECH e-bike lithium- ion batteries are made under strict and careful workman ship, so damage from power surges, use of different charger, normal wear or water damage and improper maintenance will not be covered by exclusive AUSSTECH Electric Bike warranty.  

Warranty Claims  

• Any claims under AUSSTECH Electric Bike warranty must be submitted through support team at info@turborides.com.au       

• Before making warranty claims, we suggest you that you contact our support team as there might be a simple solution for your issue.        

• Proof of purchase must be required with any service required with any warranty request made through to AUSSTECH Electric Bikes.

Warranty Period        

• 12 months frame and motor       

• 12 months for lithium battery, handlebar, controller and the charger, After-sales Service      

• Man-made damage is not covered by the warranty.      

Parts Which Not Covered in Warranty Range   

• The user does not follow the "instructions" requirements, maintenance and adjustment, which caused a failure.       

• The user self-repair or modification, non-compliance with usage rules, and cause a failure.      

• Tear without permission, change the warranty mark and label on body or part.       

• Not using the original parts.       

• Use electric bike for dangerous performances or riding extreme off road.       

• Irresistible natural disasters.      

• The failure caused by improper storage or accidental collision.     

• Easily wear and tear parts, consumables parts do not belong to "warranty range" Such as tires, steel wires and so on.      

• Self-demolition parts which is out of the Instructions scope.

We recommended that you to attach a photocopy of your receipt, showing the date of purchase, to this Warranty certificate and keep for your reference and email this warranty card.

Do E-Bikes ship assembled?

Not necessarily. All our AUSSTECH Electric bikes come 95% assembled, final assembly is quite simple, you will only need to attach the seat, pedals, front wheel, handle bars and throttle(optional).

However, if you are concerned about the assembly, you should have your bike assembled by an authorized bike dealer.

Do I need to service my AUSSTECH Electric Bike?

Yes. Our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes require service as a regular bike but all the electric components do not need servicing.

It is very important that you check and tighten all nuts and bolts securely on a regular basis.

Is it expensive to run an electric bicycle?

Not at all. Each full charge cycle costs about 10 cents in electricity and that is it.

Can I remove the battery from any AUSSTECH Electric Bike model?

Yes. All our AUSSTECH Electric Bike models are designed to be able to remove the battery.

Do I need to remove the battery from the Electric Bike to charge?

No. it is not necessary to remove the battery as it can be charged while still attached to Electric Bike.

How fast are electric bikes

You can travel up to 25kmh legally on Australian roads according to our factory setting. 

Keep it in your mind, AUSSTECH Electric bikes are not liable for any fines or damages occurred by overriding the factory setting on our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes.

Do I receive a throttle with every AUSSTECH Electric Bike?

Yes. We are offering complimentary throttle for every AUSSTECH Electric Bike purchase. But all the 250W motor powered paddle assist electric bikes can be installed with only 6kmh maximum throttle speed to be legally ridden on Australian roads.

However, it is customer’s choice to whether install the throttle or not. So, if you wish to install the throttle refer to the instructions on how to install the throttle on user manual or give us a call if you have any difficulties.

Do I need a license to ride an AUSSTECH Electric bike?

 No. All our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes are equipped with 250W motors. No license or registration required, and the same road rules apply as for regular bicycles.

If you’ve lost your licence, an AUSSTECH Electric bike could be a great option to get around.

How far will my electric bike take me on a single charge?

How far you can go on a single charge depends on a number of factors such as rider weight, the number and gradient of hills on your journey, the capacity of your battery and the how much you rely on the motor to assist you. Refer back to each electric bike design to get more information.

What type of battery inside the AUSSTECH Electric Bike?

We use genuine LG batteries with all our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes. So, you can rest assured that you are enjoying one of the best and safest lithium ion batteries in the world.

Are AUSSTECH Electric Bikes safe to ride in Australian road?

Yes. All our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes are comply with strict European safety standard norm called EN15194. All our AUSSTECH Electric Bike range has undergone through numerous lab testing, so the customers can have peace of mind when riding AUSSTECH Electric Bike that, you are riding Australia’s safest electric bike. All our safety certificates are available for you to view upon request.

Do you sell any folding electric bikes?

Yes. Most of our AUSSTECH Electric Bikes are foldable such as M003, M005, M007 and F007. Not only that all our electric bikes can be folded, they are lightly weighted integrated with Aluminium frames. So, can be stored in most car boots.

Should I run the battery flat before recharging?

No. This is not necessary as lithium ion batteries do not suffer from ‘memory effect’. In the same way that you ‘top up’ your mobile phone’s battery, you can do the same with AUSSTECH Electric Bike batteries. An occasional deep discharge is recommended.

How do I know how much power is left in the battery?

All the AUSSTECH Electric Bikes are equipped with integrated LCD display to determine the battery level. Consult the AUSSTECH Owner’s Manual for more information.

Can the battery self-recharge during use?

No. The batteries are charged with a charger. Simply plug your AUSSTECH Electric bike battery in to the wall socket.

How long does it take to charge the electric bike battery?

All our AUSSTECH Electric bikes batteries take about 5 hours to fully charge.

How long does an e-bike battery stay functional?

Most manufacturers state that  an electric bike's battery can go through around 1000 charge cycles . At first glance, that doesn't sound like a lot - if you use your bike every day and maybe even charge it several times a day, you will quickly reach this figure.

Safety & The Law

At Turborides we aim to provide our customers with the ultimate fun experience with the highest safety level possible. We do our best to make sure that our products are compliant to the Australian and/or the international safety standards. This includes our collections of electric scooters and electric bikes.

Road and traffic rules may differ from state to state. You should check  with your relevant traffic authority for your own and other people's safety and to avoid breaking the rules.

According to the Australian Road Rules (unless changed in later versions), the following should be taken in consideration by this site products purchasers, users or guardians of users while reading the safety instructions in this page:

  • The term "product", "device", "vehicle" or "equipment" used in this page refers to any of the products merchandised on or purchased from Turborides online store which can fit into one of the following categories in the Australian Road Rules:
    • wheeled recreational device
    • wheeled toy (only when used by a child under 12 years)
    • motorised scooter
    • scooter (if non-motorised or when the maximum motor power in less than 200w and is not capable of going faster that 25 Kph)
  • For the Australian Road Rules, a person in or on a wheeled recreational device or wheeled toy is a pedestrian, not a rider 
  • Rules that apply to users of wheeled recreational devices also apply to users of motorised scooters 
  • Users of motor bike are referred to as Riders

Do not ride or use any product purchased from us unless you and your guardian (if you are a minor and/or have a guardian) carefully read and follow the following instructions:

  • ALWAYS wear a suitable helmet, appropriate footwear, wrist, knee and elbow pads when riding/using the product.

  • Your device can lose brakes and power during your ride at any time due to low battery on the vehicle or remote. It's best to ride your board at speeds at which you are comfortable and safe without power or brakes.

  • ALWAYS obey and check the local road rules in your area for where you can ride and do not ride on busy roads with line markings.

  • Although your device may reach very high speed, ALWAYS ride at a safe speed (up to 25 Kph) maintaining full control over the device at all times.

  • Avoid uneven surfaces, potholes, surface cracks and obstacles.

  • The products have high power and children/teenagers under 16 years are to be supervised at all the time while using any of them, and some products are not recommended for children under 12 years.

  • NEVER ride the device if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Riding in wet conditions is very dangerous. Do not ride the product in wet conditions as it may slide from under your feet causing injury or you may lose control over your device.

  • ALWAYS respect pedestrians and ride your device around them with the upmost care.

  • Read and follow the product user manual and manufacturer instructions and recommendations carefully before use. 

  • Always check and maintain your device before use, for example but not limited to: check all screws/nuts throughout the device are tight regularly, clean the bearings for best roll and quietest/smoothest ride (including the bearing in the drive gear) as bearings get dirty and effect ride quality and may reduce battery performance and cause possible bearing failure, make sure that your device and hand control batteries are charged, make sure that pedal/foot part is not slippery.

  • Do not jump on the device, do not ride off gutters or curbs, do not smash the board into hard objects, and do not drop the board on the ground for starting operation. All these actions are very dangerous and may cause injury or death. Although the products have been made to handle rigorous riding, they are still electrical devices and need to be handled with care and respect.

  • Riding on hills can be very dangerous and we do not recommend it. So if you ride up an insanely steep hill and you intend to ride down this same hill, this is extremely dangerous and you must know how to control your speed without the use of the electric brakes if ever there was a malfunction or there was a situation where the brakes fail.

  • Use your device only during daylight hours.

  • While riding, keep to the left of the road or the footpath.

  • NEVER ride in roads or footpaths signposted as no wheeled toys or wheeled recreational device allowed.

  • Our products CANNOT be towed by a car, nor can a user/rider hold onto a car if it is moving. A product user also cannot travel within 2m of a car continuously for any distance over 200m.

  • Always check your device making sure it's not overheated, especially in hot weather.

  • Do not ride in very hot weather (40°C or higher).

E-scooters are still on a testing phase for most states here in Australia. But they have gained attraction over the past few months. With the convenience of e-scooters and electric bikes, it’s only a matter of time until we see more people using these vehicles. Especially with the pandemic going on, the trend of using e-scooters also went up. And in no time after the pandemic, the laws will change to follow suit. The future looks bright.

Refund/Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Turbo Rides. We appreciate your business and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review the following information regarding our refund policy:

Eligibility for Refunds:

  • Refunds are available for eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
  • If return is due to change in mind, you (buyer) have to pay 20% administration fee and return shipping cost. 


Refund Process:

  • To initiate a refund, please contact our customer service team at sales@turborides.com.au or 03 5294 0333 to request a Return.
  • Once you have received confirmation email, please securely package your item and include all original accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  • Ship the item back to us at the address provided. Please note that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
  • Upon receiving your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure that it meets our return eligibility criteria.
  • If your return is approved, we will process a refund to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days.


Exclusions from Refunds:

Certain items are not eligible for refunds, including used or damaged items, customized or personalized products, and clearance or final sale items. Please contact us for clarification if you are unsure about the eligibility of your item.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately to arrange for a replacement or refund. We may require photo evidence of the damage or defect for our records.
